What I need to push the diode in the module?

Hello!
I have a 16X DVD burner diode and I want to press it in Aixis module.
I need this:

Diode press tool for 5.6mm laser diodes [M0015] - $10.99 : Modwerx Shop

or I can to do it without it??

You'll need some type of tool to press it in, not necessarily that one. There are other things that you could use. Check this out at about 3:45 in.

i use the tamper proof torx bit. like a size T45. or you can turn the pill of the aixiz module around and use that but it doesnt seat the diode in all the way.

Just use the back side of the module... stick the pins through the hole and use a vice to push it into the front of the module.

I use a spent .22 Long Rifle casing, but any metal tubing ~5mm in diameter should work.
