I somehow just managed to kill another 16x Sony diode from Stonetek. I used to have very good luck with these diodes and now all of them are starting to die in my lasers. Hmmm. Here are the stats.

16X sony diode @ 275mA
Ran for about 1.5 hours with duty cycle time of 1 min max on 30 sec off.
It did have a decent sized heat sink as well.

Am I going insane...I think so. Oh well time to replace it with an LPC-815. :)
Modwerx here I come...please have fast shipping when I order next Friday. :)

400mA :worthy: WOW!! I haven't heard of anyone running those that hard. LPC yes, but a 16X...that's crazy!!

Yeah let me know.

FYI..mine stayed nice and cool as well.

Really...hmm that's interesting. Well, seriously, keep me posted as to how long you get on it. :)

I am going to switch the diode in mine to an LPC-815. :)
