Youtube of my new laser - senkat diode - lighting up a match at about 5 feet distance. Ignore all the electronics stuff running on the protoboard - they're part of other projects, and just serve as a load on my regulated supply so no spikes to the diode. Set to music no less! :!

and you cna go to radioshack.com and search learnign lab to knwo aboguht it to let me knwo if i cna do it on this

why dont you think this woudl work thers alot of room hmo pots silicone diodes wires and lots of stufff why wouldent it work

Because it most likely does not have all the parts needed for the application. Are there any regulators included with it?

How many pictures...a thousand..? ;D They come in all shapes and sizes. You might start by referring to the link woooolazer posted. There is a picture of one there.

Here, the thing in the top right of the picture is the regulator youl want for daedels circuit which is very easy to build...

I found it on Radio Shack's website. I believe what you have are 7805 voltage regulators and they should be marked. These are not recommended for the driver for a red diode.
