Im after a mount, similar to yours that holds six, but i want one that just holds one for testing lasers in a Aixiz, Just an "L" shaped mount with a hole to fit an Aixiz in, if you get me?

ok ive done a bit of tweaking of the red to try get the beam as best i can and here are the results.
my new red vs my 500mw lasever green at 17 metres. at apeture theres no contest the green is much tighter with a beam of like 1-1.5mm where as the red is 2.5mm by 3mm
my new red vs my home made 445. the 445 has an aixiz 405 lens on it only, both at 17 metres. the red has a better beam at apeture. just think when i get a prism pair on the 445 is will have a better beam than the red and green.
its all about distance, although at apeture a green has a better beam, at distance the red has the same/equal beam.

Could the beam be improved by more optics? The reason i ask is i wouldnt mind doing a 3 or 4 build like yours.

no you cannt add more optics to improve the beam, the only thing i would suggest is using roithner 7020h lens.

That beam looks really good at a distance - just like its one beam
As for the 445... i hope you find good optics to get a better beam out of that.

i have a number of sets of prism pairs just not got round to doing a proper 445 build yet, to busy doing red still.
