Hi! Here you can find what happened with my 405nm laser.
After some time collecting the parts, I finally was abble to assembly a 650nm laser within this host and driver!
I don't know the current of the driver, but I put a LOC on it and is very powerfull.
----------
Here you can see the housing, originally it was made for 3.3mm LD, so I drilled a new 5.6mm hole into it.
Here, the LD press fitted in the place, It's a long open can LD.
And the housing + driver assembled. See a enameled wire, that's the '+' of the driver, since the driver is case positive and the LD is case negative, it's needed to isolate one from another.
Here the empty host, is a standard "(SD)Laser 303".
And now, the host assembled and working!
Since I got the lens from a 1mW red key chan, it's a terrible lens, so here is the "dot":
And, unfocused:
Melting insulation tape:
A beam shot:
And the laser besides with my 250mW red:
The worst thing was lock the module insyde the host, with the switch perfectly alligned!
Thanks! :thanks:
