Should i Cancel, or stay. DealExtreme 200mW "Dilda" V2 laser $38.97 USD *Please Help!

Like the title says. I bought a DX 200mW Red Dilda laser for $39.87
Should i cancel, or is there a better quality laser for around the same price and power.
I can cancel in the next 12 hours.

If you're adventurous, you can get a kit from OdicForce to make your own- probably for less money, and potentially at a higher output.

That said, I don't think $40 is a bad price if this lives up to the power rating.

If you're in the US, DX won't ship high-powered lasers to you anyway; so your order may get canceled no matter what your decision.

Hmm thats what i read, but i see people who were able to ship with no probelem?
Also, RHD, does he have a website? Or should i PM him? How much would this be?

OdicForce is a website - a webstore. I don't know the URL by heart - it's highly googleable. Good stuff. I think it is shipped from the UK.

I can't speak for the one from deal extreme, but I recently sold the new style dilda from o-like I had which looks exactly the same, had an LCC in it. That was a good laser. Maybe some day I can afford 150-200mW of 635nm.

Even the page you linked to warns US customers that orders from the US for that product are not accepted.

I would buy the laser from O-like, Lightake or some other Chinese company, or Odicforce, which is in the UK.

Also, (and no guarantees) I would trust the o-like one over the dealextreme one anyways. Even if it is a bit more including shipping than the dx version.

Let us know if DX cancels the order on you.
Do you have laser goggles? Don't trust ones that aren't Certified or at least from an LPF member who tests them.
