Yea. I dont think that the Cap area is the Same as Lazerer 445nm laser. If you look at this one is seams to have like a metal like chrome piece in the center.

Wow, depending upon what people think of this I may have to get one.

Despite being here over two years, I've never owned a 650nm that output more than 5mW...

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as well. I've always liked the look of that host, would be interesting to have a red in something like that.

Looks good, I just wonder how close or far off ( below ) spec it may be? In any case thanks for posting this!

I enjoy seeing the market flooded with these hosts. It means that Wicked Liars will have less opportunities to screw people over!

Very interesting. I guess Max wasn't kidding when he said thousands of these were produced.

The attachment at the end is definitely different... I'm hoping that they address the flaw somehow that exists currently, but it doesn't look like they have with this laser.

Nice find. I was just considering building another red. This is tempting as it'd be only slightly more expensive than a host, driver, and diode. The only problem is it says the working voltage is 3.7v and all my 18650s are 4.2v at full charge.

why not just use a stock battery that came with one of your lasers?
if you dont have any, im pretty sure you can buy a "bad quality" one for $2-$3 from some chinese site or from a member on this forum

and damn, lazerer knows that this host is popular!
almost twice as much as the other 200mw reds..
