Red laser w/lens not working as intended.

Hello boys and girls.

Here is my situation:

- Driver built for 250mA, tested and functional
- Laser diode purchased from DTR: Laser
- Lens and housing: link

With all of this put together, I cant even make a hole in a kleenex with black sharpie on it. The best I can do is SLOWLY shrink some shrink tubing...

I suspect it is the lens... Oh and also, thanks to you guys, BEFORE plaing with lasers, I bought a pair of Dragon Laser Safety glasses. So thank you for potentially saving my eyesight.

Can anyone come up with a reason why this laser is so whimpy?

I have a feeling it has to do with the lens but I'll deffer to you guys on that one.

nevermind... I just don't know how to use a lens...

I just had to turn it to focus. I had it backwards in my head, turning it the wrong way.
