Your pictures are showing the newer version of this driver. So using higher voltage batteries, will not increase the output power. If you are going to pot mod it, it's recommended to use a multimeter to monitor the current.

Apparently all the O-like dildas are using the new driver. I ordered about ten of the new and old style both of which have the new driver :(

ooh I was thinking that this is the old one and the 3,7 batteries will help. So now I can't mod the laser because I don't have multimeter for monitoring...

dfx;

As mentioned, get a meter to check current,

and adjust the pot SLIGHTLY for a little more power.

Maybe I not going to make it, because I don't have meter and this is my first laser and I don't want to get it broken or f*cked up. Actually I don't know anything about the pot mod I just searched in the net and found the info.

Both have the new driver? There won´t be a increase with 3,6v batteries? I told Susie to replace the batteries with 3,6v so I can´t test it with both types. What about the DX dilda for $29,99, can I increase its power?

Alright ;)

Hope my 3,6v batteries won´t kill the laser or reduce its duty circle much more... Should I buy normal 3v batteries for the o-like dilda?
