Ok so after building my Father-In-Laws 445nm Christmas gift today I got to thinking about taking my first laser build and putting it into one of these beautiful host I've got, so that just what I did. The pill in quite big on these so all i really had to do was remove the old pot, some extra wire and cram it in there.

This is how it originally started.

Output power of 201mw with a 3 element lens, being driven at 250ma with a simple lm317 circuit.

The latest build is a far better host for heatsinking the module. Did you measured the output with your LPM ?
Thanks for showing us !

not quite yet. it was about 2:00am when i finish it up laser night but i think the last time i checked it was like 200-250.

Your laser has changed homes more times than a hermit crab!

If I'm to be honest, the second one looks awesome due to it's uniqueness, however I can see the practical reasons behind settling on the classical torch housing.
