Hey everyone.

So I recently got the PGL-III-C 671nm from the CNI GB that Bloom ran (by the way, thanks!). I don't have many pictures (no good camera), but you all know what a PGL-III-C looks like anyway, and because this wavelength is beyond 660nm, it basically looks like a deep red. Hard to capture in pictures.

Anyway, I just wanted to show off how stable this lalser is! It's pretty impressively stable over the course of about 7.5 minutes!

It took about two minutes to get up to full power, but then it stayed there! It looks a lot less stable than it was - remember, the time scale here is pretty big!

Thanks for looking :D

Unstable, but overspec as hell. Was an interesting laser to meter. Watching it increase 20mw, fall 5, and repeat over and over again.

Yeah, was really weird. And to be honest, it's not terribly unstable. Wasn't rapidly rising or falling.

If you were using a power meter with a TEC-based sensor, your response time is limited, so the ACTUAL noise is masked.

However, the other 671 I metered was totally fine with stability, but went to about 150mW if I recall.
