paypal trouble Trying to buy DX 200mw

ok after browsing the dx site and adding the dx200mw laser to my cart i go checkout. After i click the confirm button the dx site says there is a error.

Apparently paypal has limited my account access and wants me to "Add and confirm a bank account" and "Confirm Location" the limited acess has happend to both of my paypal accounts . I dont want to give them my bank info has this problem happend to anyone else?


i have shut down one of my paypal accounts, and to create another account i would have to pay $1.50 to add the credit card.

If you have a credit-card, just use the credit-card Paypal checkout instead of the pay-through-Paypal method. I hate using Paypal, so I just use that method all the time.

On another note, I know my mom has a paypal account for buying stuff on eBay, and has never attached any bank account with it; however, they keep giving her extra spending limits, uses only a credit-card, and I think she's considered "confirmed" as well.

You might want to see if confirming the address of your credit card with that Paypal will work too.

you confirm your address on paypal by having the your shipping address the same as the address you have for your credit card billing

i can confirm the adress thing but i refuse to add my bank account on paypal. I have deleted both paypal accounts after they told me there is no way to unlock the account if i dont add my bank numbers. I dont trust paypal enough with my bank account. They have terrible custom service, i have created a new account using a different credit card and bought my DX200 if they lock up my account again ill just delete it again and make a new one. ;D still i wish there was a alternative to paypal.

the only problem with pay-pal is if your selling they'll rape you on commision
i loved them until i sold 5 items they made me upgrade to a different type account and take 2.5 % of every sell B.S. otherwise they are great

Well, for the rare transaction paypal gets things done free of charge and hassle.

If you regularly receive payments they make you 'upgrade' and start taking commission. If you get payments totalling to a bit more, they'll come for personal details and verification thereof too.

I only use paypal for incoming funds if the other party cannot do wire transfers, or would otherwise send US cheques for relatively small amounts.
