This is kind of a stupid question but today I received my lpc 836 and I didn't have the correct driver so I could only run it at around 200mA. That should give me around 110mW although it instantly lights a match, pop balloons, etch wood and instantly melt black rubber. Is this normal for that kind of power? I don't have a LPM so can't measure power. Any comparison to a measured laser would be greatly appreciated!!!

200mA should give around 110mW. 110mW is enough power to do that kind of things.

And it depends how well it is focused, and range at which you are burning...

It is focused to a very fine point, ^^thank you, i previously ordered a "200" mW 650nm laser and it couldn't do any of those things(bought it off eBay). That is why I was wondering, thank you for the replies!!!
