Hello ,I'm new here, and after some reading I decided to go with optronics 300 green laser. I just wanted something with alot of power and range, and this one fits right into my price range

what kind of power and what type of range can I expect from this laser?
Thanks

I have an optotronics RPL300 and I can safely say that it should provide all of the power you need and then some. It should easily light matches/burn through newspaper and be able to hit a building/mountain from miles away
Btw this should be posted in the green lasers section.

Also, it's good to know that the range of a laser is mostly effected by the divergence (how much the beam spreads out over distances), and air conditions, like moisture. If it's really, really foggy, the range might only be 2000ft. If it's clear, on the other hand, you can hit buildings and such from very far away. (Not sure exactly, but a reasonable guess would be a few miles; probably more.)
RPL's have excellent divergence.
