Has anyone tried it? i cracked the window of a closed can diode when i was harvesting it, and its clearly visible on the beam.
So i tought i could try to remove the upper part of the diode, maybe by grinding the edge untill i can just pull the front cover off.

hehe thanks guys, and sry for asking something already answered.... couldnt find it.

EDIT: Its done :D it gives me a clean beam now.
