240mw's..? Is that all?... ;D I drove one for about a half a minute with around 550ma's and it was putting out 403mw's. !! ;D

I have it mounted to a TEC and it still works...but of course I don't recommend driving them that hard.

But no doubt the open can is awesome for power and I think it will run circles around the dildo..or whatever it's called... ;D

Thanks, John.

The modules were built to last. They can be driven even higher, but the idea was to get them into the community at a good price so that some that couldn't build their own could have a working laser. Of course some (like yourself) that could build their own still bought them because they are a really good price ;) I have one of these on "reserve" that the person has not recontacted me yet. I may have it available again if he doesn't answer PM's < shrug >

Peace,

mine is at 500mA right now...i don't think i can get the rkcstr driver to put out much more than that.

both the driver and the laser get hot fairly quickly, and thats with a darkhorse heatsink.

but it's still going....burns nicely too!

if only i had a LPM :(

i think it's the same diode as daves....lpc 815?
i love these diodes, i haven't had one burn out on me yet.

I have to wait on L@z3r a couple of more days. If he doesn't come through by the Sunday, this last one is yours.
