Hi, I saw this very cheap 100mW red pointer on O-Like for only £8.27

100mW 650nm red laser pen/ focusable /Pop balloons [OL-650-100P] - $11.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

I done a quick forum search and couldn't find info on this specific laser.

My questions are, do you think it's worth a buy? Do you think it will be under spec? And do O-Like accept PayPal as payment? And does anyone know any issues with O-Like shipping to the UK?

You should be fine. It pulls 300mAh which concurs with a diode of it's output.

I got a 250 red from them and it measured 150-160.

They DO accept paypal, but it's not as fast as credit card. 12$ is a cheap laser, I bet it's better than a little laser pointer for cats!

Thanks for the replies . I think I will buy it and no I wont be pointing it at any animals (unless I get swallowed by an anaconda) lol. Its just for fun really maybe a bit of burning if it will be capable of doing so.

This. No one should put any laser over 5mW near a cat or any animal. You'd think these people would get it drummed into they're head aye?

How do you figure that...:thinking:
An online PayPal payment only takes a few clicks of the mouse...
An online CC payment needs many keystrokes as well as a few
mouse clicks...
