if you want it to be a straight beam you will.
Otherwise you'll end up with a red flashlight...

Those are called Aixiz modules.

Yes it will replace the lens that already comes with the module.

The one that comes with the module is an acrylic lens inside a plastic housing. Itwill eventually wear out, or start to melt from the laser.

The glass one will not melt, and is inside a metal housing.

i'm not familiar with that black one.

Everyone here uses the one you've already got.

or they use copper ones that are exact replicas of it.

ill just get the lens and diode then,and ill use the way in the vid to put it in.i was pressing it in before but not as easy as that.so if i get that diode and lens it will work ? and does my driver look ok.all the connections are right iv checked ten times over thanks mike

this build will have cost me 34 pound 51.82dollers. after the diode and lens is that good?
