New 635 beam shape question

Got a new Laser from Laserbtb today. 200mw 635 red. Came in a nice aluminum carrying case. Seems to be well made.
I have a question on the beam shape. Mine is kind of a rectangle shape.
is this normal for a 635?

Looked through search first looking for an image. My search skills may be lacking

The diode will be multi-mode. All multi-mode diodes have a rectangular shape to them.

Thanks for the quick answer. It's almost dark here, time to take her outside.
My first purchase from Laserbtb. About 10 days from ordering to receiving.
Put it on my LPM. 265mw. So far, I'm a happy customer.

can u take some pics ? how bright is it in dark...
