Show us a picture, please.
It's hard to determine just by the description.
A 16X DVDRW diode should be capable of at least 150mW.

i just found out that this is the description of the DVD burner i got.
(dis: Pioneer Slim-line 8x DVD+/-R Burner, 4x DVD+/-R DL, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+RW, Model: DVR-K16) so my question is are the 8x good enough to make them powerful or what are the max power it could go.

oh an I'm still gonna put the picture that you ask for. just give me a little bit of time.

8x DVD, probably 100mW at most. I cant really remember what 8x reds run at, but it wont be much in comparison to a 20x or even 16x.
