22x burners have breater mw capacities than 16x ones. both work though. an 8x dvd burner diode would be much weaker, unless your talking about an 8x blu-ray dvd bruner.

so by how much strong is a 22x than a 16x

and can an 8x dvd player still burn?

hey spyder, my dvd drive is a 4x for Dual Layer

But for single layer is 16x

does it make a diff?

alright thanks, i just went out to get my parts, they only sell them in packs, making my total more than 20 dollars

i was too cheap to buy them, my dad's going get me the parts tomorrow at some store he knows that sells them seperately

as drivers? well, remember, dx is cheap, they take a long time to ship (perhaps months). they are reliable in that you will eventually get the product, but remember, you get what you pay for. if you want to buy a driver, get it from rkstr or dr lava
