Probably 300mW then? 2K is around the price for a high end 300mW 473nm, 30mW would only be a few hundred for a high end 473nm.

im really not sure, i see your from canada, what city? im from canada too,
and back to subject, is there any ways to find something close to 500mw red, lower then 150$?

I'm near Vancouver. Are you close?

There's no way you can get something close to 500mW of red for less than 150$ :/
Your best bet with that budget would be to repair and realign the module you have. (or get someone else to do it, I can help you out if you're interested :))

You'll need new diodes, perhaps a new driver and the patience to realign it (no small task)

Got any pictures of the insides of the moduel?

You can PM through the forums.
You can combine two 250mw with a PBS cube, but that takes patience, too.

May I make a suggestion to you??
Please take the time to fill out you personal profile-- your location is especially important and w/o it in your profile there will be endless Qs asking where you are--if you fill in your profile that will show every time you post..
did you make an introduction thread in the Welcome section?? that is always the best way to start here -- & its just good manners too.

there are many members near you and in The states close also- you would be wise to attend NWLEM held in Portland-- meet others with projectors and get help from them- bring broken a PJ to a LEM and you may take home a working one-

btw its mW not mw-- or MW or Mw or Mws mWs or mws- no 's' is needed..

hope I have been helpful----len
