My seconde Selfmade Laser 635nm

Hi Laser-Freaks,
here i will show you my seconde Laser-Project with Red Open Can Laserdiode with 3,8mm size from a 20x DVD-Multiread-Dive......allso bought by ebay..... each for 1$














The Current is about 300mA @ 3,1V and is burning in wood and flash matches on short distance.

Did you machine the aluminum yourself?

Also, if it is a DVD laser diode it's probably 660nm/650nm.

yes...Heatsink is enough ........and yes, all Metallwork is selfmade in my little Workshop.
The Diode is from a Apple-DVD-Drive GA32N 678-0603C, Open Can 3,8mm and i found no Datasheet about the used LD......so i think it is a 635nm...i`m not sure.

yes.....is coming, but not a Red one......Blue 445nm with 3W+ is under construction
Today i will post 2 different variants of flashlights, modifiert to 1W-445nm

Nice work shop/play room. I just finished mine as well. I'm hardly ever out if it lol I'm looking to get a lathe within in the next month or so. Nice work on the build though.
