hey everyone today i got my new host in the mail box and here of some pics of what i got so far, it came with a heatsink as well and i have no idea how to wire it im so lost so i dont know what to do with this host

its from ebay its a very nice host, and ohh guys i managed to get everything wired up ;D it need batteries but i dont know what type and its working with a 405nm laser driver on a LPC diode i dont know if it will burn my diode but it works :)

This host does look like it's designed for an 18650... that battery is 18mm in diameter, this host is 23mm in diameter so it would make sense that it would fit one. You can get 18650s cheap from deal extreme or similar, or look on ebay or websites like light hound. They're pretty common batteries.

yeah I havethat same host in 405nm 18650 will just fine it also cr123 with the extension tube removed

Oh nice, I love safety hosts (as long as they don't have that stupid nub connector switch)! Congrats on getting it all wired up, that is the hardest part!

What kind of driver are you using? For a flex drive that's too much, for a linear driver like lm123 or similar that's what you need.

thanks man :) i dont still know if i wired up everything correctly but here is what i did: i soldered all the pins to the driver even not-used pin, then i got that little round heatsink sort of think and pressed my aixiz module in it NOT the long heatsink in the picture, then with the module i got it and pressed it in the front of the host, here is a pic if its to complicated

and then i put danger sticker and put everything together

Looks like a boost driver to me. You'll need 1 18650 or 1 cr123 (16340), two will be too much.
