ok im gonna buy a red diode right.
and im gonna run it at 300mw with norms driver
and im gonna stick it in a AixiZ and build a nice box with a fan amd heat sync for it to sit in so it can have no duty cycle
WHAT DIODE DO I WANT???

DONT SAY OPEN CAN LONG!! I KNOW THAT...

Gimme links please.. i wanna buy one..

If properly heatsinked or cooled, you can probably put at least 450mA's into it, and it will give you over 300mW's through a Meredith glass lens. Or about 260mW's with an AixiZ acrylic lens at that current...

yes sir, sure should be. The diode from this unit is a bit hard to extract, but it's a beast once you get it going.
