Hi, It is my first host build.
LASER DIODE is from samsung writemaster 20x DVD burner, diode is some diffrerent type, so I must machine module from brass.
It is running on 3xAAA batteries, using LM358 based low-dropout driver.
I am running it at 180mA, I will increase the current later.
It can burn match, electrical tape.
I am using AR coated high power lens 5mm*2.3mm with short focal lenght, i have it from some DVD burner

Nice! It looks like you got one of those troublesome flat plastic diodes. They provide good power but can be a real pain in the butt to mount and heatsink.
 
Nice Build.:) You really keeped it clean looking. Did you make the lens nut and what lens are you using in it of you did .?
 
Yes, I made lens nut. It is machined from brass, M8x1 thread.
Lens is from DVD sled.
I will take some beamshots at night.
