So, i have seen before that by cooling red lasers with liquid nitrogen, you can achieve much shorter wavelengths (down to the 605-610nm region) however you need very, very low temps (like -200C) but what type of results could we get with one of the low power, 635nm single mode diodes (like the HL63603TG) and cooled it with a 4-stage peltier cooler? i think it could get down to -70C if were lucky. what type of wavelength are we looking at for a temp like that?
