As seen from Styro's video, the new diode seem to be giving out 3 beams instead of two. I wanna buy this because...well because its 3 beams.

Now, is it guaranteed that I'll get a tri-beam? Since I've seen a few people with the same diode but with 2 beams.

There two variations of the diode , one with 2 emission areas in the die and one with three .

Not sure on the diode products cods though , getting a two or three beam one depends entirely on the diode that you buy .

Yeaaah, that's what I thought. Since Styro bought it from o-like, I was gonna do the same but better get it right. Seen it on Ali too, about the same price. Just need to be sure which one is right.

got holed up in an asylum in the middle of nowhere and put to sleep for 3 years...so i think i won't need anymore sleep though....
everytime i wake up insane things happens so it best to stay awake...

I looked on O-like and saw the double beam one but not the tri-beam like they used to list. Either I missed it or they don't have it any longer.

Update: Spoke to podo and he didn't have any idea either as to which one is the 3 beam version.

I talked with Mitsubishi some weeks before. Oficial mitsu brand is three beams diode and they stock them (currently in massive production). I have technical diode specs sheet..pm if interested (btw... horrendous divergence, way worse P73)
They said me '2 beams' version is NOT Mitsu brand. Besides 2beam is out of stock almost everywhere... even O-like is out despite is listed on their site with almost 1000 units stock, so guys, email O-like before purchasing, I don't understand why they still have this error uncorrected
