Dear Forum members,

I have recently bought a 5mW Red Laser Dot Diode Module (650nm) I have left a link below to the exact one in which I have purchased:

3 x 5mW Red Laser Dot Diode Module 650nm Brand New UK Arduino PCB PIC | eBay

I am looking for the point of the laser to be of greater thickness. I would like to know how I could achieve this but keeping the laser of a small size.

Thanks in advance

Ollie

Those modules look as if they may be focusable; just rotate the front brass piece.
This will change the size of the dot at any given distance.
The seller lists these as 3V modules, but in his 3rd pic, he shows it attached to what appears to be a 9V battery!

Have fun with these, and welcome to LPF!

P.S. - Click on the the -link- in my sig (650nm 5mW build focusable) to see one of these modules in a build.

No problem Ollie! I just hope yours turn out to be adjustable also.
Let us know how they workout for you.

P.S. - You may want to add your location; there may be other members in your area! :yh:
