(lpc) 815 vs 826/836 - beam quality?

I've extracted (a) lpc-815 diode from the dvd burner sled. It's a reasonable 'single mode' diode and one can achieve good divergence from a single lens.. it does burn well.

What is the beam quality of the 826/836. Are they multimode?

they are the same.
There are people who believe they are all the same.
i was told the 826 did not die as easily as the 815.
it might go out but then it will come back on.
