Hi,

I am about to make a laser using a lpc-815 and module coming from modwerx.

I am wondering what kind of beam i can get with it ?
What is the beam diameter ?
Is it easy to have a good collimation or is there some divergences issues ?

Thank you !

I have a LPC-815 laser, the beam is not very visible outside without fog. With fog it is very nice. The beam diameter depends on the type of lense. I currently have an acyrilic lense and i can burn from about 10foot away. Further than that, the dot is just too big and too hard to focus.

Yeh^ focusing is usually a bummer but with some lenses you can get a proper beam with tight divergence. Also with a 650 g-1 from jayrob you will increase your power by about 25 or more percent!
