Hello, i just bought Micro-Drive V3 adjustable driver and 650nm 20x DVD Burner LPC815 Laser in Aixiz Module. Idea from DIY: How to Build a Burning Red Laser
by styropyro. Thanks for him, having just problem where do i put these any ideas? :yh:

you can also buy the 3405 MXDL kit from member jayrob (it's 3xAAA host)

You need more than 4.5V (3x AAA batteries) to power up that laser module that is made in that video. Look for a flashlight that uses 2X CR123s or something similar.

Thanks, do u know any good host for CR123s batteries ? Eww just noticed also that i was meaning aa batteries not aaa, and 4x aa gives good power. :shhh:

The Solarforce L2 is the best host you can get, but it might be a little too pricey for you. There are literally hundreds of CR2 lights on Dealextreme if you want to go cheaper, just find a design you like there.
