Here? :-/ Haven't really looked into it. I'd go with google on this one.

Why only 10mW?

Thanks; Is it a legit supplier? I don't want to get ripped off. Also how much does it cost? There's no price tag anywhere on the page.

Only 10mW because I'm not interested in burning lasers yet.

Hmm... maybe I posted this thread in the wrong place.

Could someone move this to the Buy, Sell, & Trade section please? It might do better in a more relevant board. Thanks in advance. Sorry for double post.

10mW? I know you said your not interested in burning lasers yet but to be honest mate a 10mW red wont be massively brighter than those keyring 1mW red pointers you can get.

Perhaps a 10mW green? or even just a 5mW green? You can pick them up for around £15 - £20 GBP. Unlike red lasers which need a heck of a lot of power for a clearly visible beam, a 5mW green will have a visible beam in a dark room and the dot will be very bright compared to the red.

There aren't any reputable distributors of 10mW red pens that I'm aware of. With red, only low power (<5mW for pointing) and high power (>100mW for burning) seem desirable. If it's just for pointing why not get a <5mW pen? If you need one a little brighter, get a <5mW pen at 635nm.
