The ps3 diode isn't as powerful as a phr, and that's way to expensive.

Glasses (and they are cheaper than I thought):

Edit: you can use a rckstr driver, but I prefer boost drivers (like a flexdrive) because they work well with one li-ion battery. Rckstr is a buck so you would need at least 2 for a 405 or even 3 for a 445.

wow that is cheap for goggles! and the flexdrive is more expensive than the rckstr so i might just get the rkcstr. Can i just use a axiz module instead of the o-like one?and what is the max recomended curent for a phr?

Thanks for all your help!

You can use an AixiZ module. Safe current for a PHR is ~90mA, that should give you a long life. Max is around 110mA-120mA.

Yeah 110-120 is good. Im pretty sure mine is running 112ma.

The axiz module is the most commonly used module but it is pretty small so it usually needs to have a heatsink on it. The o-like has more heatsink mass and is made of aluminum (axiz is brass). The o-like is also very easily reused. Pretty much if you have a host or any kind of heatsink you have to use the axiz, but if you are just planning on having a stand alone module I recommend the o-like one. I guess for a phr it really doesn't matter cause even a bare axis has enough heatsink for a decent runtime with it, but for a more powerful diode I really like the o-like module. Plus it comes with a glass lens.

ok where can I get an o-like module? and kind of off topic but i was cleaning my axiz lens an i used alcohol so it wouldent get water spots. when i put it back is the module and turned it on there is a fussy circle around the dot. does that interfere whith the power? what shoul I do to get rid of it or should i just ge a new lens?
