cool DIY red laser man, can ask how did you setup your laser driver? did you use DDL driver setup? if you dont mind, can you post some schematic diagram of your driver, it might be a big help for all of us appreciating your work here, thanks.. Good Job, keep it up! ;) ;D

Im planning to build up same setup as yours in the coming month, after my 9 months old 20x open can DIY red laser was doing fine, and im assuming more power to put out after i've done the same as yours! i appreciate very much on your creative work on this! ;)

Thanks, no problem, I found it. Another question for you though... how do I get it out of the heatsink without damaging it? :-/

Looks awesome man!

get one from Rkcstr at http://rkcstr.googlepages.com/home just make sure to always short your caps out before you even think about touching a diode to it.

Just wanted to make sure people know, the new address for LPF members to purchase my driver is:

http://rkcstr.googlepages.com/lpf

I changed it because I put up a "general public" purchase website with higher prices. My prices that I sell on here were those I set for the members here, especially since this forum has helped me so much! But the rest of the world gets to pay more for my work :)

because you typed googlepage instead of googlepages! The capital LPF works fine in a URL, you just made a easy to miss error in your post.

Nope, its a three prong diode in a gun-metal colored heatsink. I'm at work right now but i'll try to post up pictures when i get back. [/quote]

I just bought a few of these drives, any chance you already took those pictures and just haven't posted them ::) if not, don't worry about it, I'll be able to figure it out. but some info about them is always helpful

thanks in advance

thanks Paul,

I've already harvested like 5 of the 22x burners, it is kind of tricky to get out of the heat sink but I'm getting better at it
