I present my LCC 16x burner metal mini
I have always liked lazeerer host "metal mini" I got the idea to see if he had one available and he replied he had some stashed away and after a attic crawl he found one:eg:. I also asked if he could make the heatsink for me. I feel it's important to get out and support the community in this way, albeit a small token, I felt at home asking this from my friend:thanks:
So here she is:
So as I waited for this sweetie pie to get here I though about the build, driver, diode, lens...
I had asked about something a little different from lazeerer in the realm of his drivers and was REALLY blown away by his X-drive CG (continuous ground).
I really think this driver is the best design and my new favorite driver. I find it to be very efficient and diverse. I cannot say enough about it:wave::wave::wave: it's a love affair some of you could relate to.
I decided to mount the driver right on the sink:beer: HeHe nice and clean::bowdown:
I used 2 way tape, this driver is not going to get hot at all in this configuration, strong stuff, keeps the driver off the sink by a fraction.
Here are some beam shots:
I can't say why 4 ultra pixel, but my camera seems jacked up on the red beams.:undecided:
In closing:
This mini uses
a copper module
a 16x LCC
a X-drive CG set at 454mA (the driver many ranges/capabilities).
host/heatsink from are from our local laser wizard, lazeerer:wave:
650nm 3 element Aixiz lens
14500 batt.
Here is the LPM
So 310mW peak for a LCC in this sweet little host... yea, Angelos is the man he has put forth one of the baddest little drivers out there measuring 224mA at the tailcap:wave: you can bet I'll be getting a pile of those drivers. Thanks for looking LPF and get out there and build.-jander6442
