laser heat sink + altoids

Hello, I'm a little bit new to this. I have everything I need for a red high powered laser (the module should arrive today), but I'm wondering what I should do about a heat sink. How can I make 1? Where can I buy 1? Does the altoid container that I'm going to use act as one?

Mostly how to make 1, I don't feel like waiting weeks for ordering

Yo can use the Aixis Module you ordered as a heatsink...
It depends on how much power your "red high powered laser"
will put out whether tou need to add more heatsinking...

For a large homemade heatsink.. get a block of aluminum and
drill a hole in it the size of your Aixiz module... Then mount the
module in it... The bigger the heatsink... the better the cooling...

Well ty, I'm on my g1 and at work amd can't do so much research. I guess ill try and make 1 from the metal tube in the dvd rw
