this is my first diy red it has a suposadly 200mw aixis diode in im using this torch because it takes 2 cr123 batteries wich i need because im using ddl,s driver 6v.
im inputting 230ma in it just to be safe but the beam is verry visible indoors and i can light a match from the other side of the room when colomated properly.
the only downside is the driver is mounted outside the torch in a rubber housing strapped on the side

this one shws the driver in the external rubber case
allso its heatsinked internaly with a brass hosepipe atachment

yeah, I'm still working on mine... I got all the circuitry together just gotta get a heat sink to fit in my Dorcy. Come to think of it, I hope the circuitry will fit too...

um is it me or is only 1 wire from the ld soldered on, howd did you get it to come on? Is it like a magic circuit..lol i want one.

I thaught sentorches were made by senkat....don't you mean your leetorch? :D

the entire case is also a ground connection remember?
