I have a similar situation with the same thing. I recently got the lpc815 diode along with a rkcstr driver. I placed the components on a heat sink while soldering and then placed a 9v battery in to test and not much happened. I then tried 4aa's. It barely produced any light whatsoever so i turned the pot until it would no longer, and all throughout i got nothing different except the diode began to heat up so i shut the power off and tried a few minutes later with nothing even close to what i saw in Styropyro's video on youtube. Whats going on with this?
