Well to combine through a cube the beams have to be one vertical one horizontal. Will end up looking like this + but then you can't prism correct.

If you use a wave-plate though you can get both the beams to go through a cube horizontally. Then you can correct it from this = to this :

I'm guessing same as the multi-mode 445's the best lens to use with a prism pair will be the near focusing 650-g-1

Isn't $69 shipped the same price as they actually cost from Rayfoss?

Does this mean you've figured out where they come from! ? :)

Didn't rayfoss also have 500mW 635nm diodes on their ebay a while ago?

I think they either ran out or they were not what they were supposed to be as I heard they were refunding people.:thinking:

OK Guys another Update for you all.:wave:

LPM Test Video and trying to show the dot area and beam but i will show that better later.:)


^^^Iam tired so my voice is alittle messed Up.LOL


Its in a quick and temporary Host right now until i have the time to put it in its Home.:)

Now for Power:

At 350mA I was getting ~>210mW
So I Turned the Current Up to 400mA and I was Getting 255mW
Then Maxed it at 420mA and you see in the video what its reading 285mW.

So I think that this is Good because its still within the DataSheet. Plus The DataSheet is done before optics so after Optics i think we are right on.:)

Ill do another reading in about 1 hour without using the laser till then to let it fully cool down and i think i will get a little over 300mW or right bellow it.:wave:

What do you guys think.?

More Beam Videos to come tonight with also Focusing on the Dot area so you can see it better with Divergence measurements.:)

Multi-Mode.:) Worse then a 445nm though. But still Awesome IMO. I love it.:wave:
