I have to pick up some parts on Monday, ill check if the guy still has the box of Uniphase tubes. He didnt have any power supplies, and rarely does. I think there was also Melles Griot tubes in there, but nothing over 3mW. I picked up some a few months back and all the ones I got all worked when powered up. ;D

Well I already had doug out the siemens tubes but there should be the uniphase and melles left. I think im the only guy who buys them from him. Remember to, there is no way to insure them with any postal carriers. For some reason they dont like glass laser tubes, as they are fragile and expensive. I can do them for you guys for 10$ each, as ive got to pack them with extreme care, and the extra 5$ covers my materials. As for the shipping, 3-5 day expedited runs about 10-15$ depending on the destination. But have seen an average of this price when I ship to the US. PM me any requests for these and ill try to grab the whole box ;)

Yea but I don't think smoke reflects 632nm a lot more than 532nm :p

Its funny how you mention dangerous, when I was taking those shots I was also taking some video. Long story short, I was lining them up with the green and while the green was in my hand the other end got too close to the + HV anode connection. The power leaped into the pointer and blanked it out, and out into my hand  The air was briefly full of profanity!

Oh, and yes I used smoke. They are typical brightness for a red and are 632.8nm.

I can do basic post, but its still small package. So that way would be about 9-10 bucks. If you want more than one the cost of shipping may incease by a dollar or so, they dont weigh that much.
