What about one of those waterproof wicks, you know, the greenish ones, submerged in say a puddle of gas, butane, whatever. Wouldn't that work?

umm... I hate to be the old stiff here, but:

why are you folks giving someone who is obviously immature, more ideas for hurting himself (and others)??

Blowing up a glass bottle is going to have more repercussions than just flaming gasoline - how 'bout those glass shards? How far will they go? (answer: depends on which size pieces we're talking about - and they will come in all sizes).

If you want a really big bang, that's relatively safe (it can only kill or maim or deafen you if you are too close):
Fill a balloon with O2 and H.
Suspend it from a tree far away from any windows or people or pets or flammable objects. (at least 100 feet)
Put on some ear and eye protection. Really.
Ignite it remotely. (at least 20 feet)

Now, you're maybe going to have to find out how to do some of those steps.  But I'd say that you should be able to pull this one off,  before you start messing with lasers and gasoline!
