have any of you all read about the fuego series from big lasers?

here is a link: http://www.biglasers.com/site/1589403/page/792252

one thing i simply don't understand is why the divergence is 5mRad?!

its just that im so used to people saying they like divergence to be low, and this one seems so much higher.

This laser pointer is a rip off for the price IMO. This is one area where WL wins out with the pulsar.

I have one of these lasers, and am very unimpressed with it. You can also see it sold as the Orion on Laserglow, and PGL-III-660.

Generally, anything biglasers has, they are selling at much more than reasonable price, and laserglow should have the same product for cheaper. Good luck!

Oh, and the divergence is because the laser is a bare diode type laser and not DPSS like greenies. Bare diodes like that are harder to collimate, and CNI isn't really known for their divergence in the first place.
You should see CNIs specs on their IR pointers - "<15mRad"
