Well i was talking to my science teacher today and now, for some reason, he needs an ~35mW red laser. I talked to jayrob and from him its looking to be about 190$. was wondering if there were any mass produced lasers like this out and about, or am i going to need to get a custom like the one from jayrob?

You can get a 16x Senkat diode, Micro-drive and a leadlight.

You should run it a bit less then 100mA according to this graph:

To be totally honest i dont know, and to be honest again, i don't really care lol. He did say something like since he had a 35mW green, he would like to have a red at the same power..

If that is the reason, he is gong to be disappointed in the red, unless he is just going to use it in some sort of experiment that would require comparing the two colors at the same output. If that is the case, he should also get his green actually measured (if he hasn't already) by someone with a good LPM. Labels on green pointers don't actually mean much ;)

his green was from nova, so it was measured, and i think thats what he is doing is comparing the beams.
