Flat Red Diodes

I have a couple sleds with flat LD's. They are toshiba/samsung TS-H563 (20x) and TS-H562 (16x). There are a few old threads of people experimenting with flat diodes. I hate to see the ones I have just sit around forever, I doubt I'll experiment with them anytime soon. If someone wants to play around with these I'm willing to send them to you for free (unless shipping is >$5).
I prefer them to go to someone with a LPM because I'm just curious how they compare to other known diodes but that preference depends on someone with a LPM wanting them, lol.

I haven't seen too many projects using those
flat LDs simply because of the mounting issues.

I personally had very good results from a few differant flat reds , they are quite easy to work with if ur willing to do a bit of very basic engineering to mount them ..

Scott, I have actually read some of your posts about the flat reds. It sounds like you had very good results but I doubt I'd get around to experimenting with them in the near future. I have two round red diodes I've harvested as well as a lpc-826 & phr-805t, I think they will keep me busy for awhile.
If you want the sleds I'd be happy to send them to you but a quick check of usps.com shows that shipping would be over my $5 limit by somewhere around $6-$7, I think. Although I do have a flat red & ir combo diode and possibly a flat red from a laptop drive that I would let go of too. PM me if you want them!

You can priority ship anywhere in the U.S in a small flat rate box for $5
you can even send a small bubble mailer the cheaper way for like a buck or two.

I've shipped to france for like $3 the slowest way possible in a small bubble mailer.

The diodes have been taken by a different member, one within the U.S.
They did go flat rate box, I just didn't trust a bubble mailer to protect diodes.
