Ha Ha yeah, the other driver would of been a nightmare to fit !!!! I just used elecrical tape round the h/sink and seemed to have worked, the unused pin was shorting somewhere ??? so i had to use a little tape on there too.
yup, it's all flush now

, now to figure out the focusing prob, it starts of fairly small, then goes smaller when you twist it then gadualy gets bigger, any ideas ????

As in my PM. Try reversing the lens assembly. You should get down to a tiny dot.

I couldn't download the vids but if you're popping balloons and burning then it sounds like your focus is just fine! I doubt it'be doing that if there was something screwy going on.

Ok, I was hoping to see if it was lop-sided and indicate if the diode was maybe in at an angle but I can't tell from that.

If it is doing the buring thing then I don't think you have too much to worry about. Get some smoke in the air and see if you can get a nice collimated beam. If that happens then I think you're fine.

I can get a straight beam. I think it is just the way the lense is ??? I'm quite happy with it so I think I'll just leave it as it is

just it was a little weird when I was focusing it

*Edit* I'll try n get a video of what happens up on Youtube !!! so you can see what happens
