:thanks:

Your boost driver when available would be good for a 445 such as the m-140 correct?

Yes but only up to ~1.4 Amps, which in my opinion is plenty powerful enough ;) but you can parralel 2 to get 1.8Amps & run the M140 at the Max ;) also it uses 1 li-ion ;)

The reason I ask is because I would like to use that jayrob host a m-140 and your driver with an 18650. I believe 1.4 amps would be plenty enough for my second laser. Is 1.4amps safe for a m-140? And some thermal paste on the driver inside the heat sink and I should have a legit laser. That's kinda my plan.

Yes 1.4Amps is safe ;)

Your gonna want to heatsink it to the host to get the heat out ;)
I can properly heatsink it for you before I ship it if you'd like, if it's not properly heatsinked it will start flickering then just shut off, and only work again once it cools ;)

How much size would it add by heat sinking? Any pictures of an example. I'm not buying it today but am doing my research and weighing my options and making a plan. I enjoy building my first one so much I'm ready to do another and another. I'm kinda addicted now.

I'm also thinking of using that linear that I just got, to also make a phr-803 at 125ma. I believe that is a safe power.

It adds a couple mm of height, but if you don't want to heatsink it then just run it at 700mA for your M140 & if you get an efficient one then use a G2 you can get 1W :D

For the PHR make it as close to 120mA as possible ;)

Wow, you drill the holes very nicely  I've made about 3 altoids builds & the holes are always so messy :p

well what i did was start with small drill bits and work my way to bigger ones, then i round them out this the dremel. but this was a little tricky because it's plastic. but i like this one a little more because everything fits tights, and no wasted space.
