Does anyone know how efficient are 671 nm (frequency doubling of 1,342 nm) and 660 nm (frequency doubling of 1,320 nm) lasers? Since red DPSS lasers aren't very common, I don't know much about them except that 660 nm lasers seem to be less efficient than 671 nm ones.

I didn't think 660nm red DPSS existed... if it does I haven't heard of it.
As far as I know, 671 red DPSS is used for red powers over about 500mW, but I think its only slightly less efficient than 532nm green, as in higher powers the price is about the same. It's all about economy of scale. If red diodes didn't exist and weren't possible in the same way green diodes don't exist, I assume we would have relatively cheap red 671nm DPSS pointers.

671nm is a deep red though, visibility would be shockingly dull. Not sure on the efficiency, but its less than green i think.

Not very efficient, not nearly as much as green. I believe green DPSS has among the best gain, the others (red, blue) are not nearly as efficient.

actually Senkat diodes are ~670nm when run at power over ~100mW...

NO they're not. The Senkat diodes were originally designed for DVD use, most are going to be between 655-660 nm.. 670nm would likely increase the spot size to the point where they might not work for DVD pickup.
