Holy crap, it was already at an insanely low price :-X

Once again, the DX200 proves to be the best red laser on the market.

Put that drop shop item or whatever, it removes the DX logo and labels it as a gift?

Screw the laser laws. Laser + batts + charger just dropped to ~$50 USD. I've already had a few of my friends show an interest in these things.

I've just ordered 3 sets of laser + batts + charger (to get the bulkrate discount). Lets see how good these 'Aussie Customs' really are [smiley=evil.gif]

Batteries USED to be included, but not any more, probably the reason for the price drop ;)phoenix77/rob :cool:

Penalty: the maximum penalty for importing these goods
without import approval is $110,000 or 3 times the value of the
goods, whichever is the greater.

Wrong. Mine didnt come with batteries.

That's just INSANE. I might risk it over a $5000 fine, but $110,000??? :eek: :eek: :eek:

Lol I was going to buy a torch and a laser from DX and get them shipped together to see if they get passed customs ;D Guess I'm not anymore :'(

All I can say is wow...I remember a few years ago when I was dreaming over buying the pulsar for $250, and now I can get a focusable 200mW red for $44 :eek:

To be honest, it's not really worth it to build a red from a 16x burner anymore. Diode costs $20, Aixiz module costs $5, driver costs ~$8 from rkcstr, you are up to $33, and that is not including a host. Now you have to figure failures from blown diodes and whatnot, it is going to be cheaper and easier to get this from DX. If I want one in a specific host, I can just pull the laser module out of the dilda casing and I have a 200mW laser module.

I guess I'm down to building blu-rays and open cans, the only time I ever plan on building one using a 16x burner diode or lower is when I come across a busted DVD burner.

I may order a couple of these just because they are so cheap.

Man, I really want one now!!! Just when I thought that the price was cheap before... (no explaining necessary). I MUST get one before they are sold out! If only my parents would listen to me.. Man, I could sell these to my friends for $60 lol.
