i made a red diy laser its 140mw and powered by 2 cr123 batts, the heatsink is made from the peice that comes in side of the light i just flipped it around, the cap is from the light to its works well from keeping the lens clean from dirt and things here are some pics

So what diode are you using? What current is it being driven at?

i got the diode from ebay, and i used a 250ma rkcstr driver
